ROM Information

3D Streets of Rage, known as Bare Knuckle: Ikari no Tekken in Japan, is a side-scrolling beat ’em-up game developed by Sega/M2 for the Nintendo 3DS and was released on August 21, 2013. A sequel titled 3D Streets of Rage 2 was released on April 29, 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS. In the grips of a vicious crime syndicate, this once peaceful city has become a centre of violence and mayhem.

Amidst this chaos, three young police officers are determined to tackle the problem head-on. Taking control of one of three ex-officers, use their special hand-to-hand combat abilities to take down the syndicate and save the city. In addition to its all-new 3D presentation, 3D Streets of Rage also features local multiplayer and a Single Hit KO mode to help you power through the city’s crime. Streets of Rage is a beat ’em up featuring aspects of Double Dragon and Final Fight

Players act as Adam, Axel, or Blaze, who save Wood Oak City from being overtaken by a criminal syndicate led by Mr. X. The three traverse eight levels and all have a total of 40 moves, such as headbutts, backslams, and reverse kicks. Surrounding the landscape are weapons that can be used to attack enemies, such as knives, glass bottles, pipes, and baseball bats, and food items that increase energy, such as apples and chicken.
