Features in-game tutorials on how to play Cardfight. Players may choose from six original characters. The types are Hotblooded, Cool, and Dark. Each type will have a male and a female to suit the player’s preferences. The story mode occurs from Season 1 until end of the Season 2. There are up to 30 characters from the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime, including the Sub Manager. In addition, 4 members from the Milky Holmes appear as opponents after ending story mode and all puzzles.
