Kobito Zukan – Kobito no Fushigi Jikken Set is a Simulation game developed and published by Nippon Columbia for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released exclusively in Japan on December 12, 2013. Relying on the rumors of Kobito heard from the villagers and the information from the doctor, the player walks around the field in the mountains, looks for signs and traces of Kobito, collects tools to lure Kobito, encounters Kobito, conducts experiments and observations, and then takes pictures and records them in a picture book. The main character comes to a rural village: the setting is a countryside village full of nature, surrounded by the sea and mountains.

The player explores every corner of the village in search of the dwarfs. Unique Kobito that can be observed and experimented with. Fifty-two types of Kobito have been discovered (or announced) so far. You can experiment and observe the mysterious ecology of Kobito. You can experiment on the ecology of each of the kobito you have discovered. The theme of the experiment differs depending on the Kobito.

You can observe in the field the unusual ways in which Kobito mimic something or perform special rituals. You can observe the habits introduced in text, photographs, and images in the original picture books and other works in a lively and moving state. You can also enjoy a game of Kobito where you can touch and fight with Kobito after encountering them in the field under the advice of the doctor.
