Myst

Myst is an adventure video game designed by Rand and Robyn Miller. It was developed by Cyan, Inc., published by Broderbund, and first released in 1993 for the Macintosh. It was released on July 27, 2012, on Nintendo 3DS. In the game, the player travels via a special book to a mysterious island called Myst. The player interacts with objects and traverses the environment by clicking on pre-rendered imagery. Solving puzzles allows the player to travel to other worlds (“Ages”), which reveal the backstory of the game’s characters and help the player make the choice of whom to aid.

This adventure title is ideally suited for Nintendo 3DS, and features six worlds, many puzzles and clues. MYST offers over 80 hours of immersive gameplay. This version also gives gamers extra content to explore, with new landscapes and the RIME Age added to enhance the storyline. As in the original MYST, players will solve puzzles, explore surroundings and interact with items that deliver clues, which players must piece together in order to solve the mysteries that lie within.
