Nobunaga no Yabou also known as Nobunaga’s Ambition, is a Strategy game developed and published by Koei Tecmo Games for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released exclusively in Japan on September 19, 2013. Nobunaga no Yabou takes place during the Sengoku period of feudal Japan.
The player is tasked with achieving the ultimate goal of warlord Oda Nobunaga: the conquest and unification of Japan. Selecting Oda Nobunaga is optional, however, as the player is also able to choose from a variety of other regional daimyōs of the time. This installment brought the classic strategic gameplay to the 3DS platform, allowing players to engage in territorial expansion, diplomacy, and warfare to achieve unification.
