Pixel Paint also known as Dot Paint in Japan is a Puzzle game developed by Sanuk Games for the Nintendo 3DS and was released on June 29, 2016. Create your very own pixel art with ease, then post it to Miiverse or save it to the SD card for use on social networks. A piece of pixel art is a picture that’s been built up by pixel by pixel, often resembling the aesthetic of retro games.
Base your creation on an old game, or create something entirely new! Use the Nintendo 3DS Touch Screen and stylus to create works of art, and choose from eight color palettes inspired by retro gaming systems. There are five canvas sizes to choose from, as well as a number of brush shapes, sizes and other tools.
