ROM Information

Pokemon Bank is a Miscellaneous Application developed by Game Freak for the Nintendo 3DS and was released on December 25, 2013. Pokémon Bank is an application that allows you to connect your Nintendo 3DS family system to your own Internet-based Boxes and store your precious Pokémon there to be withdrawn later. Bring the Pokémon you’ve been raising with such care with you on your next great adventure! Pokémon Bank is a paid service, with an annual charge for usage.

Players can deposit and withdraw Pokémon from both physical and downloaded versions of compatible games, allowing players to exchange Pokémon between them. An additional application called the Poke Transporter has connectivity with the software, allowing the transfer of Pokémon from Pokémon Black and White and its sequels to Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. After the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, the software was updated to be compatible with it. Once a Pokémon had been deposited into these newer titles, it could not be transferred back to its original game.

In Pokémon Bank, you’ll have 100 Boxes that can hold 30 Pokémon each, allowing you to store a total of 3,000 Pokémon! Pokémon Bank is a powerful resource for players who like to obtain many different kinds of Pokémon, or for those who like to raise many Pokémon in preparation for battles and competitions. If the worst were to somehow happen and you lost your Game Card, your Pokémon would still be safe and ready to be withdrawn to a new game if they were deposited to Pokémon Bank!

What if the ROM is encrypted?

If you find a ROM that's encrypted, you need to use the Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor, created by Matif.

The ROM isn't working correctly?

Not all games are fully compatible with Citra. If you do find a game that's not working, try using the latest PabloMK7 Citra fork, the continuation of Citra since its shutdown.
