Description

Welcome back to the Alola region with Pokemon Blood Moon! This is a Kaizo-esque reimagining of the original Pokemon Moon, not Ultra Moon. The game features greatly enhanced difficulty, quality of life changes, improved level-up movesets, numerous buffs to various Pokemon, expanded wild encounter and SOS tables, 90+ moves from Gen 8 onwards, and more! This is only version 1.1 of the game, and there will be many updates to come. Should there be any game-breaking glitches or particularly outrageous gameplay choices, they will be addressed swiftly and efficiently. Below you will find some useful documentation for your new Alola journey. Additional documentation will be added throughout.

Features

Trainer Changes

  • Hundreds of hand-crafted trainer fights with competitive strategies, beneficial natures, and IV and EV investment.
  • Trainer tactics evolve over time. All trainers on Melemele have no EV investment and will not use any healing items in battle. All trainers on Akala will have perfect IVs. All trainers on Ula’Ula will be EV trained. And finally, all trainers on Poni Island will have a full team and will always heal.
  • All Pokemon evolution lines appear on a trainer’s team at some point.
  • Hau has an entirely different team each time he is fought depending on which starter you choose. The only member of his team who remains per subsequent fight is his Alolan Raichu.
  • All trainers have their levels increased by 50%, meaning the level cap for Kukui is 87.

Pokemon Changes

  • Pyroar is now Fire/Dark type. Fire is dangerous. Don’t go playing with it, kiddos.
  • All Pokemon that evolve by level up evolve at later levels, except for bugs, birds, rodents, pseudos and Bounsweet.
  • All in-game trades have been revised and made to be more beneficial to the player. Make use of the in-game trades!

CUSTOM MOVE CONTEST

  • There are nearly 100 new moves in Pokemon Blood Moon. From generation 8, generation 9 and spin-off material. Up until the release of version 1.2, I will be holding suggestions for one custom move to be added into the game. You may decide on the type, base power, if it is physical, special, or status etc. The move I like the most will be added into the game. Only one suggestion per person will be accepted.

 

All this and more in Pokemon Blood Moon! This game sets out to be the most difficult iteration of base Sun and Moon that I could create, so while it will be difficult. I hope it can still be enjoyed.
