Description

Pokémon Triple Y Deluxe is a romhack based on Pokémon Y / Kalos, redesigned so that Triple Battles become the core of the game. Its main goal is to differentiate itself from vanilla Pokémon Y through higher difficulty, competitive balance, more strategic trainer teams, routes with stronger individual identity, and Pokémon adjusted around specific roles. There are a ton of other tweaks, secrets, and quality-of-life changes packed into this ROM, but I’ll leave some surprises for when you actually play it. Basics remain the same, minimum BTS is 390 in order to give a chance to those ZU tier have a chance, and hey, maybe they learn unique moves for that evolution line. A sneak peek, Edd Bomb is now a special move with 100 dmg and 90% accuarcy, just to help our special move coverage for the Rock type, expect the same behavior on physical electric moves, as well as water ones.

  • Main focus toward Triple Battles..
  • All Kalos routes have been tweaked in order to allow more spawns
  • Remember to have AT LEAST 3 Pokemon before the first trainer battle on Route 2.
  • The second batch of starters was replaced, do not expect Squirtle, Charmander, or Bulbasaur, tho the Mega Stones can still be obtainable.
  • All Pokemon have been modified or reviewed for many level-up moves. The level-up moves are based on typing and logical balance. For Egg Moves, they have not been tweaked so, I’ll fix on later updates.
  • Type changes such as Rattata becoming Normal/Poison, Magikarp becoming Water/Dragon, Feebas becoming Water/Fairy, and Sunkern becoming Grass/Fire, and many more.
  • A bunch of moves and targeting were adapted to work for Triple Battles, including spreading moves.
  • Rare candies can be purchased via the shop, as well as Everstone. This is because some first-stage now learn unique moves that their later evos can’t.
  • The game does not end once you beat the champion. Battle Maison trainers have also been adjusted in order to allow more challenges, and even you can use the legendaries and mythical Pokemon thanks to Pocket Monster! Just drag and drop the games ID folder into your mods folder.
