Pokémon X is a Nintendo 3DS role-playing game published by Game Freak. It was released in 2013 alongside “Pokémon Y” as the first game in the 6th generation of the Pokémon franchise. The game takes place in the French-inspired region of Kalos.
What sets “Pokémon X” apart from other Nintendo 3DS games?
Graphical enhancements: “Pokémon X” is the first game in the series to make full use of the 3DS’s capabilities to deliver 3D graphics instead of the 2D graphics used in previous games. This includes fully rendered 3D models for the Pokémon in battles, adding a dynamic and visually appealing element to the game.“Pokémon X” features more than 70 new species of Pokémon and a brand new elemental type, Fairy. Fairy is a combination of both the new Pokémon and the old ones that have been redefined, which adds a whole new dynamic to the game’s battle system, especially when it comes to fighting against the more powerful Dragon-type Pokemon.
The PSS (Player Search System) enhances online interactions by making it easy to battle and trade with other players across the globe. It also adds new social features like ‘O-Powers’, temporary boosts that you can share with others.
The game’s immersive world and storyline features a richly detailed region called ‘Kalos’, which draws aesthetic inspiration from different locales all over France. The story follows the protagonist’s journey to become a ‘Pokémon Master,’ but with some twists and turns.
The 3D capabilities of the 3DS bring a whole new level of immersion and interactive playability to the game. The game’s 3D effects on battles and environments add a whole new layer of depth.
All of these elements combine to make “Pokémon X” an important and loved addition to the “Pokémon” series, especially praised for its improvements in graphical quality and gameplay mechanics, making it an even better experience on Nintendo 3DS.

If you find a ROM that's encrypted, you need to use the Batch CIA 3DS Decryptor, created by Matif.
Not all games are fully compatible with Citra. If you do find a game that's not working, try using the latest PabloMK7 Citra fork, the continuation of Citra since its shutdown.
Citra is an open-source 3DS emulator for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android devices.
It is designed to recreate the functionality of the Nintendo 3DS system on other platforms, enabling users to play 3DS games in higher resolutions and with improved graphics.
it seems that the emulator is not loading with citra due to region issues is there anyway i can fix the problem i really want to play pokemon x.
I am having the same problem and I tried to decrypt the file but the file still didn’t run for me. Could there be any other reasons for this rom not playing
will it save
I’m downloading right now! I get to do pokemon x!
The game is from the recent version 1.5?
Its not working even in pablomk7 citra fork
Difference between USA and Europe versions
European versions usually have multiple languages to choose from for example Spanish, French, Italian etc. which the USA version will not have.
I downloaded the game on my phone and it’s in zip format. And now Citra just can’t open it.
You just unzip it and it should work
what do i do if it says CIA file not found?
I am going to play it but the download
is too long
