Features

All new double battles

• -Each and every trainer in Alola carries an altered team of Pokémon fit for a double battle.
• -Certain Pokémon gain new moves or even abilities to assist them in this new format.
• -TM listings have changed:
• -Work up becomes Helping Hand
• -Fling becomes Icy Wind
• -Flame Charge become Incinerate
• -Frustration becomes Electric Terrain
• -Smack Down becomes Psychic Terrain
• -Confide becomes Grassy Terrain
• -Low Sweep becomes Misty Terrain

A new selection of Pokémon

• -The routes of Alola are home to a vast new selection of Pokémon to provide a fresh experience.
• -Researchers conclude that many of these Pokémon appear to be capable of Mega Evolution.

Shadow Pokémon Swarm through Alola!

• -Team Skull, the usually somewhat impotent band of numskulls, have been seen using strange, twisted Pokémon.

• -The plot of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon has been adapted and expanded to fully integrate both double battles and Mega Evolution into the game.
• -Mega Stones may be obtained both from wild Pokémon and from shops.

Known Bugs

• -When you reach Route 1, catch a Pokémon as soon as possible. Attempting to initiate a double battle with only one Pokémon in your party results in a crash.
• -As Mega Evolution is only activated in the postgame of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, it is recommended that you use a save editor in order to activate it early. A guide on how to do so is available here: Youtube Link
• -If this is not possible for you, save files with Mega-Evolution pre-activated are available in both the Pokémon XD – Altar of the Sunne and the Pokémon XD – Altar of the Moone download folders.
• -Some visual errors may occur upon attempting to enter a battle with only one healthy Pokémon.
