Smile Precure! Let’s Go! Marchen World is a Party game developed and published by Bandai Namco Games for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released exclusively in Japan on August 02, 2012. The game is based on the ninth installment of the Pretty Cure anime series, Smile PreCure! (known internationally as Glitter Force). The main part is a rhythm game where the player controls one of the characters from the show and has them dance for a portion. In addition, there are minigames based on which fairy tale is occurring.
The game also featuring a photo-taking application where the player can take stylized pictures with the characters. The game transports players into a world of fairy tales that have been disrupted by “bad energy.” Players join the Smile PreCure team to restore these stories to their happy endings by completing various themed minigames. The narrative aligns with the anime’s themes of friendship and battling negativity to bring happiness.
