Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi – Kikansha Thomas-hen Oigawa Tetsudou also known as Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi – Kikansha Thomas Hen – Ooigawa Tetsudou wo Hashirou! is a Simulation game developed and published by Sonic Powered for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released exclusively in Japan on July 28, 2016. It is the seventh installment in the Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi series, known internationally as Japanese Rail Sim 3D. It features the Thomas & Friends license and is based on the Oigawa Railway in Shizuoka Prefecture, which features a Thomas steam engine.

The game allows players to simulate driving the C11 190 locomotive on the Oigawa Railway Oigawa Main Line, with the top screen of the console providing specially-filmed footage of the engine running on the line while the bottom screen simulates different actions required to keep the engine running, such as operating the valves and shoveling the coal. Certain locations across the railway have additional information about the railway, such as its history and culture, sightseeing spots, and vehicles.

This information can be obtained by exchanging coins given out based on the player’s performance. A special mode allows for players to take control of Thomas and his friends on the railway. The gameplay is simplified for younger players and advice is provided throughout by Hiro. Additionally, there is a “Thomas Character Quiz” to learn more about the characters. If the quiz is successfully completed, the player can receive puzzles and “gacha tickets” that can be redeemed for character cards. Players can also unlock toys as achievements for completing specific parts of the game.
