Tongari Boushi to Mahou no Machi also known as Pointy Hats and the Magic Town, is a Simulation game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released exclusively in Japan on December 20, 2012. It is the fourth entry of the Magician’s Quest series. Like the previous work “Stylish Wizard”, there is no chronological connection. “Magic Town” is the first game to be released on the Nintendo 3DS. It follows the systems and elements of previous titles, set in a magical world and communicating with the residents who appear in the game.
This time in the town, a huge shopping mall was built. Players can enjoy magic, fashion, and the development of their own shop. A system has been added that allows real shops to appear in the game by downloading them. Players assume the role of a young wizard attending a magic academy. Daily activities include attending classes to learn spells, interacting with fellow students, and participating in various school events. The game features 160 unique students, each with their own personalities and schedules, enhancing the social simulation aspect.
