One Piece – Great Pirate Colosseum

One Piece – Great Pirate Colosseum known as One Piece – Dai Kaizoku Colosseum in Japan is a Fighting game developed by Arc System Works for the  Nintendo 3DS. It was released exclusively in Japan on September 21, 2016. It is based on the popular Shonen Jump series One Piece, with the game being based around the Zou story arc and also including characters from the film One Piece: Gold which was released in theaters on July 23rd, 2016 in Japan.

The game is a 2D fighter where the player can choose up to 3 fighters against another player. The player can trade in a fighter for supports which bring in a character for an attack or a buff. The game has 23 playable characters and over 80+ assist characters. In November of 2016, the game was given a patch that gave it the ability to be cross-compatible with Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, allowing the games to face against each other.
