It was released as a “totally remade game” based on Nankōfuraku Sangokushi: Shoku to Toki no Dōjaku, a tower defense game released in 2013. The game story is based on the stories during the Three Kingdoms period of China and is split into 3 parts: Shu Chapter, Wu Chapter, and Wei Chapter. The genders of some male characters in history are also changed to female.
