Kirby – Planet Robobot – Galacta Knightmare is a 3DS ROM Hack by DudeLuke based on Kirby – Planet Robobot in English. It was last updated on February 02, 2022.

Description

Kirby – Planet Robobot – Galacta Knightmare is a mod of Kirby – Planet Robobot that replaces Meta Knight’s model with KPR’s Galacta Knight Model. Just like in Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, these models have the same bone structure, meaning Galacta Knight’s model file can just be renamed and substituted for Meta’s. Play as the Strongest Warrior in the Galaxy! Alongside this, I’ve also done some basic retextures for the Goggles and Floaty (taken from one of my previous mods), and the Cloak model used for Galaxia Darkness. The Meta Knightmares have been retextured to look like their clones used in the Galacta Knight boss fight in Kirby Super Star Ultra, courtesy of SJ!

There are even text edits to rename Meta Knight to “Aeon Hero” (Galacta Knight was too long of a name), as well as giving fun new names to Meta Knight’s special moves. You also may notice that Galacta’s eyes will frequently clip outside his mask during cutscenes, this is because of the different mask shape, and this can’t be changed without actual model edits. All around, this mod is kinda primitive, but I plan on adding more to this as I get better at modding Kirby Planet Robobot. One last thing, I currently can’t do the inverse and make a Meta Knight boss fight yet because Meta has animations separate from his model and will t-pose forever if placed into the game.
